POTTS HEADS FOR 3rd JUNIOR NATIONAL TITLE

Jacob Potts going for the #1

Jacob Potts is making the long trip from Kalgoorlie to the Cranes Combined, Carrick Speedway, Tasmania, to compete in this weekends, Speedway Sedans Australia, Pepsi Max Australian Junior Sedan Title.

JACOB POTTS 3Potts competed in Esperance in 2014, and Mildura last season, and will be hoping it will be third time lucky, as the fifteen year old from the Goldfields of Western Australia, travels to Tasmania for the first time.

Having left Kalgoorlie on Boxing Day, Jacob and his family have been holidaying along the way, even having time to compete recently at the Western Speedway in Hamilton, Victoria, where last year in the State Title, he rolled over.JACOB POTTS 1

 

 

I really wanted to run at the track again, and I needed to give my new motor a run“, said Potts.

Currently in Healesville, Victoria, Potts and his family were also lucky enough to be at the Premier Speedway, Warrnambool last weekend, watching World Series Sprintcars.

I am really looking forward to meeting up with all my mates from around Australia“, added Potts when questioned about what he was looking forward to.

I am also looking forward to racing on a new track“, added Potts. “I would love to win the A Main, but I would just like to race well and have a good finish“.

JACOB POTTS 2Potts believes Brock Atkins will be the hardest to beat, but also adds that there is a strong West Australian contingent heading to the title, and all the competition will be tough.

Potts will meet more of his in Tasmania who are coming to support him, after he arrives on the Spirit of Tasmania, leaving Victoria tonight.
