The Ground Masters Street Stock Stocktober will be held this Saturday night, at the Kalgoorlie Case and Drill, Kalgoorlie International Speedway, on the Goldfields of Western Australia.
Although not the biggest field ever assembled, it is full of quality with the event wide open, leading up to the 30 lap main event.
Hayden Norman, Last years Stocktober & Open Club Championship 1st place winner isn’t return for this years event Leaving the gates wide open for a new place getter to step up to the top step on the Podium in this weekends Event.
Josh Fraser joins the street Stocks after many years of racing as a junior Sedan Driver.. travelling all over Australia and competing in national and Local events, claiming the NT Junior Title in 2014. How will this young Newbie Fraser shape up as he returns to the Red dirt track to take part in his First Stocktober Event.
The much travelled David Padmore is another of several visiting drivers who will take on the Kalgoorlie locals, which includes Bob Wakefield who took away 3rd place in the 2014 Stocktober event after several restarts and a Green, White, chequered flag in the Feature Race. Evan Wakefield, Ray Leonard, Peter Walker, Jack Barnewall and Dean Shore.
This Years Stocktober and Street Stock Open Club Champs is up for grabs and it could be anyone’s for the taking.
Racing commences at 7.00pm on Saturday night, with events also scheduled for Junior Sedans, Production Sedans & Amca Nationals.
